Description:
- Hang invoices by lot in numerical order
- Check control tags and numbers; hang with invoice
- Verify completion of order
- Verify completion of special customer requests
- Locate unfinished items; expedite completion of the order
- Assemble completed orders
- Account for orders promised each day
- Organize garments on hangers
- Reject and return items that don’t meet quality standard
- Move orders to bagging slick rail
- Assure customer satisfaction: return the order promptly, properly assembled and 100 percent ready to wear or use.

Shirt Finisher
(Presses sleeves, cuffs, collar and body)
Reports to Laundry Team Leader
Description:
- Process shirt orders
- Use assigned sleever, cuff/collar and body forms
- Produce high quality, touch-up free results
- Hang and transport shirts to assigned area
- Check for spots, yellowing, fading and repair
- Meet company production standards
- Work in a team
- Maintain clean work area

Silk Finisher
(Finishes silk and synthetic garments)
Reports to Dry-cleaning Team Leader
Description:
- Obtain garments from supply rail
- Use form finisher, puff irons, hand iron sizing and hot head press with proper lays or dressing.
- Use heat and pressure to produce desired finish
- Identify spots, stains and repair problems; mark with tape; send to appropriate area
- Hang and inspect finished garment; tag hanger with presser I.D.
- Meet seasonal production standards
- Report equipment malfunctions
- Report equipment and workplace safety concerns

Packager
(Ensures accuracy and completion, removes control tags and bags order)
Description:
- Compare item count with invoice; match items to invoice
- Remove control tags after verification; staple control tags to invoice
- Log items appearing as an unknown piece in the order
- Verify completion of special customer requests
- Operate bagging equipment
- Twist-tie hangers together
- Staple invoice to bag; place hang tags on invoice
- Move bagged order to slick rail
- Maintain clean work area

Press Operator
(Presses coats and skirts in rotation)
Reports to Dry-cleaning Team Leader
Description:
- Removes garment from hanger on supply rail
- Use equipment to produce wrinkle- and impression-free garments
- Identify spots, stains and repair problems; mark with tape; place on designated hook
- Inspect quality of work while hanging garment; tag hanger with I.D.
- Report equipment operating problems and malfunctions
- Report equipment and workplace safety concerns
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by supervisor
